Frequently Asked Questions

How long does a custom cabinetry project typically take?

Most projects take between 10–14 weeks from initial consultation to installation, depending on scope and material selection. Timelines are discussed clearly during the design phase.

What materials do you use?

We use 3/4" prefinished plywood for cabinet boxes, dovetail drawer boxes, and offer premium material selections for doors. Finishes are completed locally in Naples, ensuring maximum quality control.

Can you work on condo projects?

Yes, we frequently work on both single-family homes and condominiums.
We understand the scheduling challenges related to seasonal condo closures and association rules.

Do you install the cabinetry?

Yes, we offer professional delivery and installation services for all projects we build, ensuring a seamless experience from start to finish.

Can I bring my builder or designer to the showroom?

Absolutely. Builders, designers, and architects are always welcome to meet with us at our Naples showroom to view samples, finalize selections, and collaborate.

What is your warranty on cabinetry?

All SWFL Custom Cabinetry projects include a 5-Year Limited Warranty covering defects in materials and workmanship.

Do you offer custom colors or stains?

Yes! We can match virtually any custom paint color or create custom stains based on your specifications

We proudly partner with The Countertop Company of Naples, FL to provide full countertop solutions for your project.
Our showroom offers full slabs for viewing, including popular selections such as Taj Mahal quartzite, Cristallo quartzite, and a variety of quartz options.
Clients can conveniently coordinate both cabinetry and countertop selections in one location for a seamless design process.

Do you offer design services for builders and designers?

Yes. We provide professional design plans using ProKitchen and Mozaik software, including 3D renderings and cut-ready files. Whether you need presentation visuals or full production files, we tailor our support to your project needs.

What’s the difference between inset and frameless cabinetry?

Inset cabinetry has doors and drawers that sit flush within the cabinet frame, offering a classic, furniture-style look. Frameless (European-style) cabinetry eliminates the face frame, allowing for a sleek, modern appearance and slightly more interior space. We offer both options depending on your aesthetic and functional preferences.

Is everything made locally?

Yes. All cabinets, drawers, and doors are fabricated and finished in our Naples facility. Nothing is outsourced, giving us full control over quality and timelines.

Do you handle remodels or just new construction?

We do both. Whether you’re renovating an existing space or working on a new build, we provide custom cabinetry solutions tailored to your timeline and architectural needs.

Can you run our entire remodel or build project?

No. We are not licensed general contractors—we are cabinet manufacturers. Therefore, we are not licensed to run your project or oversee other subcontractors. We work with many reputable professionals and are happy to provide recommendations to assist you in assembling a complete project team.
